Stay Tuned Mixing Session

This past weekend Kurt,Lorie and I had the privilege of working on a possible new CD for the group. Our new show Stay Tuned was recorded live in September and we had our first mixing session with Gary Strub, who recorded this show for us. This is the third recording I have had the chance to work on. It is an incredibly long process. Each song is listened to multiple times to adjust the balance between the vocalists and between the vocals and the band. We spent all day Saturday and Sunday in the studio and this is just the beginning of the process. It was also exciting to hear an actual live recording as the previous two were done in a studio without a live audience. In our business, these recordings are a great source of revenue, which is critical to the group’s success. I am excited to hear the final product. Hope you all are too!
